"Dogs to the Rescue" will be shown at the Berlin Short Film Festival on Friday, June 29, 2018 at The Babylon in the Mitte section of Berlin, Germany at 10pm Berlin time. The Festival itself will run June 28 - July 1, 2018.
A short documentary that focuses on Pet Prescription, a Southern California-based clinic that trains dogs to be therapy pets. The film follows the dogs to an assisted living center that shows how the dogs bring love and healing to residents of that center.
Krystal Emery is the founder of Pet Prescription. She will describe what Pet Prescription does and will take us for a tour on how the training prepares the dogs to bring happiness.
You will see how beneficial dogs can be to residents of an assisted living center and to their owners as their spread their sweetness.
At the 2017 Festival Angaelica, aka the 2017 Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, "Dogs to the Rescue" won the Walt Ratterman Humanitarial Award.

On January 10, 2018, "Dogs to the Rescue" placed as a finalist at the 2018 Russian Film Festival (Moscow). On May 2, 2018, the short doc also placed as a finalist at the Autumn 2018 Auckland (New Zealand) International Film Festival. On May 21, 2018, the film won the Silver Palm Award at the 2018 Mexico (City) International Film Festival.
